Welcoming safe riders since 1988
In 1987, a
small group of riders got together, formulated a plan and a constitution.
Those were presented to Rider Group (a/k/a Rider Magazine). Our petition was
approved and we were sponsored. We then petitioned the AMA to be chartered and
were approved in 1988.
Since then, Rio
Grande Riders has carried on without any brand emphasis, with no dues, and only
asking that riders be safe, ride safe and give their dedication to each other –
for the fulfillment and experience of great rides and good friendship.
Everyone is welcome!
Rio Grande Riders provides an excellent opportunity to meet riders just like
you.
Come to our meeting a bit early to get breakfast – The meeting lasts 1 hour.
We always have a ride after the meeting and you’re welcome to ride along with
us.
If you cannot make the meeting but want to make the ride, join us in the parking
lot – by all the bikes – at meeting's end and come on the ride with
us.
Rides are posted on the Calendar/Ride Schedule Tab.
